Since version 2.0 of the Kiprun Pacer app, we offer some users access to a session analysis. Unfortunately, this analysis is not yet compatible with all equipment and smartwatches. Here are the compatible watches and conditions:
Export session to a Garmin watch ✅
Export session to a Coros watch ✅
Apple Watch ✅
Kiprun Pacer Tracking ✅
The analysis does not yet impact your training plan.
Why don't I have access to it?
Sessions other than running (e.g., trail, cycling, or swimming): Some sessions cannot be analyzed depending on their type (cycling or trail sessions, for example, do not allow for comparing actual paces against planned ones). Don't worry: your effort still counts, even if the analysis isn't detailed! Treadmill sessions are also excluded.
Technical errors (or other cases where analysis is not performed): Some sessions cannot be analyzed due to the tracking mode, technical data errors (inaccurate or incomplete GPS data), or atypical training. Our team is working to improve these cases, but in the meantime, your effort is still valid! To benefit from the analysis, don't forget to export your sessions and track them with your watch!
Free run sessions: Free run sessions are not analyzed in detail: we cannot evaluate your pace against a target. But don't worry, your training has been recorded!
Analyzed but deactivated session: The user chose not to have an analysis for their session, so no score/lap analysis will be displayed.
Race day: The race session is not analyzed in detail (no session map with recommendations at this time).
How to get access?
Export your session to your watch.
Have a watch compatible with the feature.
If you haven't exported the session to your watch, make sure to press the lap button to create blocks during your session!
